As another main cities of Iran, we can name Shiraz which is the capital of Fars province.This province was the capital of Iran in some periods of history. The “Nasir ol Molk or Pink Mosqueis an age-old mosque in Shiraz built during the Qajar era. Its name (Pink mosque) is due to the pink color tiles used in the construction of internal space.

Peresepolisor Takht-e Jamshid is one of the ancient cities of Iran and was the majestic capital of Achaemenid Empire in 515 B.C. Persepolis was firstly founded by Darius the Great. After Darius, his son continued to expand this magnificent set. Persepolis was chosen as a Word Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. This old city is situated in North East of Shiraz. At a short distance from Persepolis, Naqsh-e Rostam is located. Naqsh-e Rostam is a place in which bodies of five kings of the Achaemenid Empire such as Darius the Great are buried. It is recommended to every one do not lose the opportunity to visit this architectural masterpiece in their travel to Iran.
